Kay Tanaka

Kay Tanaka was born in Newport Beach and is a native of Orange County, California.

Kay attended the University of California, Los Angeles. During her time there, she volunteered as a mentor with Project BRITE (Bruins Reforming Incarceration Through Education), a student-led program that rehabilitates incarcerated boys at a juvenile detention center through education and guidance. She graduated cum laude from UCLA in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History.

Prior to joining McKasson & Klein in 2015, Kay worked in design and marketing, using her artistry and attention-to-detail to create striking advertisements, newsletters, flyers, logos, and programs of all varieties. In these high-volume settings, she honed her abilities to manage, multi-task, and handle difficult personalities, like lawyers!

Kay enjoys indulging her artistic side, volunteering with an animal rescue shelter, traveling, going to the beach, dancing, and playing tennis (she worked at a well-known Newport Beach tennis club as head court director & director of marketing for the junior program).
