Lawyers: MichaËl Fischer

Michaël (pronounced “Mickell”) was born in Europe and holds U.S., Swiss, and French citizenships. He attended California State University at Northridge where he graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in physical anthropology. He earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California in 1997 where he focused on international law and was an editor for the law journal.

Michaël’s practice centers on U.S. and international business representation, both with respect to transactional matters (contracts, agreements, sales, acquisitions, licenses) and litigation (contract disputes, business torts, product liability). He has substantial experience in, among other areas, corporate law, international commerce, intellectual property disputes, maritime law, and real estate transactions.

Since 2002, Michaël has taught law part-time at the University of California, Irvine extension program. A die-hard tennis player and long-time instructor, Michaël claims to remain competitive in local tournaments.
